• The Company was formed in 1971 by John Everett, who gained a wide range of Civil
Engineering experience whilst working with the Consulting Engineering firm, Blyth &
Blyth and then as Contracts Director for Edinburgh based James White Contractors Ltd.
• The Company rapidly gained a reputation for quality and service to its Clients, in the
East/Central Scotland area where it was involved with many private Clients and a variety of
Local Authorities in civil engineering works.
• On the retirement of John Everett in 1991, Mark Everett assumed the role of Managing
Director. John Everett remains as Company Chairman, with Contracts Director Bernard
Mullen, overseeing the running of all Contract Works.
• During the past 15-20 years, extensive experience has been gained, in the design and
build market, with over 60 steel framed and clad buildings completed, including all
external car parking, roads,drainage and internal builders work included. These have
varied in size from 2000 sq ft - 60000 sq ft.
• The Company is also involved in a variety of refurbishment Projects, where approved
and qualified Sub Contractors are utilised for the likes of plumbing, electrical and
mechanical services.
• The traditional elements of civil engineering works, such as heavy excavation,
foundations, roads, drainage, services and hard standings, remain within the scope of
works carried out by the Company. All earthmoving plant utilised on each Contract is
owned and maintained by the Company and driven by long serving operators.
• The Company is aware of its responsibilities with regards to ongoing changes of
legislation in Health & Safety and regularly institutes training programmes for
Management and Labour to meet these requirements.
• We therefore remain confident in our ability to put the resources and skills of the
Company to the future service of our Clients.
